Reigns: The Witcher Launches February 25th

The Witcher universe meets the iconic “swipe left-swipe right” mechanics of the Reigns series. Reigns: The Witcher, where you’ll decide Geralt’s fate, is preparing to meet players next month. Nerial and Devolver Digital have officially announced Reigns: The Witcher, the fruit of their surprise collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED. This narrative-driven game bringing a brand-new perspective to Geralt of Rivia’s adventures will launch on February 25, 2026 for PC, Mac, and mobile platforms.

Geralt’s Story Through Dandelion’s Eyes

Reigns: The Witcher blends the decision-making mechanics we’re familiar with from previous games in the series with The Witcher’s rich universe. But this time, we’re hearing the story from the mouth of Geralt’s closest friend and the Continent’s most famous bard, Dandelion (Jaskier).

Players will relive adventures from The Witcher games in the stories told by Dandelion. You’ll respond to the demands of villagers, sorceresses, and kings by swiping cards left or right; changing the course of the story with each choice.

Gameplay and Features

Every decision made in the game changes the course of events in the universe. Should you advise a villager against hunting a monster, or support their risky decision? Few choices have clear consequences, and players must choose wisely to keep both the story and Geralt alive.

Throughout the game, you’ll encounter familiar characters like Yennefer of Vengerberg, Triss Merigold, and Vesemir, while developing Dandelion’s bard career to unlock new storylines, characters, and inspirations.

Geralt’s monster hunting adventures also appear in the form of mini-games. You’ll enrich the gameplay experience by battling ghouls, rotfiends, and other creatures through mini-games.
